God appears to Abram: In Genesis 17:1-3 the Bible highlights, once again, God's appearance to Abram! Yes, this writer perks up when he realizes something is being repeated in the Bible! Abram, a friend of the God of the universe, had regular times with God! Do we? "I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless... Then Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him," Abram humbly responds to God by falling on his face!
Now our application: Have you heard from God lately? If you have, have you fallen on your faces? Our nation, schools, churches, families, ... need to hear from God and so do we! Let's all get right with God, walk with him, live blameless lives, allow God to appear to us, and bow down with our faces to the ground in humble homage to Almighty God!
